Workplace: Based in capital city or main field base in one of our field programmes in Afghanistan, DR Congo, Madagascar, Somalia, Southern Sudan, Sudan (Northern States), or Uganda Starting Date: Earliest January 2010 Contract Details: This position is not currently open, but frequently required in the Field Open-ended contract, 100%, 2 years Closing date: If applying, candidates will be considered for the next available open position. Project Overview Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation projects in countries of high vulnerability. Responsibilities Overall management of finance and financial procedures for the field programme. Provide accurate financial reporting and communication at field and HQ level. Organise and develop effective financial / admin. processes for projects. Manage and train national finance staff. Oversee IT requirements for field and capital city.
