thousands of people to flee South Waziristan to neighbouring districts, World Vision, in partnership with the Church World Service provided more than 6,500 people (900 families) in Dera Ismail Khan
(D.I. Khan) with emergency relief items this week. Relief items included 900 hygiene kits, 900 family kits and 2,700 blankets. World Vision plans to provide relief aid to some 10,000 families
displaced due to conflict between government forces and Taliban militants.
